• identify your primary issues and concerns (related to yourself and/or your business)
• pinpoint the top three goals you’d like to set and achieve (short term or long term goals)
• set a budget for how much you can afford to spend on coaching
• determine how many hours per week you can commit to doing “homework” for your coaching sessions
• have a general idea of which type of small business coach you’d like to work with (e.g. marketing coach, start up coach, strategy coach, life coach, etc.)
• prepare yourself mentally and emotionally to be open to new ideas and new ways of doing things
